WoW Forever character creation portraits appear to have both Standard Definition and High Definition versions in a recent build, according to Wowhead’s report. The report says the screen previously showed only the High Definition/Retail portraits, even with the Standard Definition/Classic toggle enabled.
What changed
The observed change is the reported return of SD portraits to the character creation screen. Players using the Classic visual toggle can therefore see SD portraits there in the build described by Wowhead, alongside the existing HD presentation.
What it does not establish
The supplied evidence is a Wowhead observation, not a Blizzard announcement. It does not establish a complete Classic toggle for the wider interface, identify a published build number, or confirm that this behavior is final for the beta. The report also does not establish matching changes elsewhere in WoW Forever.
