Basic Campfires turn Cooking Fires into campsites where players can rest, use services, contribute crafted objects, and share one-hour buffs.

The first profession campsite object is learned at skill 20. The checked recaps do not name the dungeon bosses that drop advanced Blueprints.

Materials, rest and account progress

From your first camp to Legacy points

  1. Prepare the camp

    Check the Basic Campfire Kit materials in the Cooking guide and do the camping introduction first.

  2. Reach profession skill 20

    Blizzard confirms the first profession objects are taught at skill 20. Craft one from your guide's campsite recipes and add it to a camp; a Basic Campfire holds up to three.

  3. Sit, then check the buff

    Blizzard describes a one-hour buff after sitting briefly. Profession buffs are class-buff variants and don't stack with them; a combined XP bonus is unverified. Camping details · Optional level-14 chain: Sleeping Bag route.

  4. Record your first Legacy point

    Class level 25 or skill 150 in a primary crafting profession completes a milestone; Cooking, First Aid and gathering don't count. Track it in the Legacy Challenges tracker.

  5. Choose a character goal before spending

    Compare Adventure, Professions and Resourcefulness in the Legacy perk planner. Points are shared, spending is per character, and Blizzard announces a 16-point launch spending cap.

What Blizzard has described

  • A Basic Campfire can provide vendors, repairs, profession workspaces, and other useful benefits.
  • Nearby players can add up to three special crafted objects to a Basic Campfire; each profession has three objects learned at different skill levels.
  • More advanced campsite objects come from Blueprint recipes dropped by specific dungeon bosses.

Not known yet

  • The recaps do not publish every campsite restriction or the complete object and buff catalogue.
