The Cozy Sleeping Bag comes from a quest chain that starts at level 14, according to Wowhead’s Forever guide. Its item record describes a reusable bag with a one-hour cooldown and an experience buff that can stack three times. These are Wowhead reports checked on October 1, 2026; the route has not been tested here in a playable build.

Start in your faction’s zone

Both factions visit the same two sites, in the opposite order. At each site, interact with the Burned-Out Remains.

Faction First stop: accept “… and that note you found” Second stop: turn it in and accept Stepping Stones
Alliance Westfall, Alexston Farmstead, 37, 50 The Barrens, burned tower south of Camp Taurajo, 46, 74
Horde The Barrens, burned tower south of Camp Taurajo, 46, 74 Westfall, Alexston Farmstead, 37, 50

Wowhead’s guide has separate Alliance and Horde tabs. The Horde tab reverses the first two stops; it does not provide a shortcut around Westfall.

The shared route

The following coordinates and quest order come from the same Wowhead walkthrough.

  1. Stonetalon Mountains: take the path near 50.9, 52.3 to the abandoned camp at 40.6, 52.4. Pocket Litter completes Stepping Stones and starts Scramble.
  2. Stonetalon Mountains: climb north from the camp and reach the Mound of Dirt at 39.6, 49.8. Turn in Scramble and accept Wet Job.
  3. Loch Modan: reach the dam at 49.4, 12.9. The Eagle Figurine on the carved heads facing the Wetlands completes Wet Job and starts Eagle’s Fist.
  4. Hillsbrad Foothills: use the cart at 87.3, 49.6 to climb into Thoradin’s Wall. Beyond the room, look right for the Messenger Bag. It completes Eagle’s Fist and starts This Must Be The Place.
  5. Thoradin’s Wall: interact with the Hastily Rolled-Up Satchel below the Messenger Bag to finish the chain and receive the Sleeping Bag.

At the Stonetalon camp, Wowhead also lists Rekindle as an optional quest using the Simple Wood and Flint and Tinder supplied earlier in the chain.

Using the reward

Wowhead reports a 1% experience increase per minute spent resting in the bag, up to 3%, lasting one hour. The chain also awards five Student Fodder; the Forever guide describes those as restoring health. Keep that distinction when comparing older Season of Discovery advice.

The item database also lists a Stranglethorn Vale vendor location, without enough checked detail to establish an alternative purchase route. This draft follows the sourced quest route only.
