You meet him very early in the run. A tank-and-spank: kill the non-elite skeletons he summons and hold back heavy area damage until the tank has threat. His periodic enrage does not change the fight.
No drops are recorded in the source.
Quest context: Killing him completes The Grave Knight (Horde).
Reached after you leave the sewers. Focal Blast is a beam that sweeps counterclockwise around the room and kills whoever it hits, so dodge it. Stay inside the circle on the platform to keep the adds at its edge out of the fight.
No drops are recorded in the source.
Two Mana Phantoms join at the pull; kill them first because of their Mana Burn. Dispel Manamorph, an 8-second crowd control. The healer keeps away from the boss, whose Silence hits everyone near it, and cleave damage handles the Arcane Manalings it summons through the fight.
No drops are recorded in the source.
Quest context: Power Overwhelming's text and the client's encounter list both call this fight the Mana Elemental.
It waits among the city's buildings, and Angry Tomes come out of them as you approach; kill those before the pull. Malfunction winds up, then pulses heavy damage within 25 yards, so ranged players stand at maximum range and melee run out.
No drops are recorded in the source.
Listed in Wowhead's guide; its mechanics are not known yet.

Quest context: Named in the client's encounter list; nothing else about it is known yet.

A mana barrier shields it until the bosses around it are dead. Its mechanics are not known yet.
No drops are recorded in the source.
The final boss. Spread out for Bounding Mana and keep casters at maximum range, outside the 20-yard Arcane Explosion. When it runs out of mana it casts Mass Polymorph and Evocation. Leaving its room resets the fight.
No drops are recorded in the source.
Quest context: Drops the Arcane Mote for Heart of Disruption on both sides.
Drop chances are not published in the checked Forever sources.

Groups go in through the sewers on the city's northern border, along Lordamere Lake (Wowhead's map pin:
Alterac Mountains 8.0, 61.2). One group member needs the Dalaran Sewer Key from Heart of Disruption to unlock the gate. Alliance players run in from
Hillsbrad Foothills the first time; Horde players use a tunnel the Image of Archmage Modera opens, or swim over from
Silverpine Forest. Player comments from 1 and 3 October report that the dungeon could not be entered on the beta. Wowhead report
Blizzard made City of Dalaran available for testing on October 8. Entry prerequisites and a complete run still need an in-game check.
The checked sources do not establish complete boss tactics, drop tables, or launch timing.
Alliance access report: Wowhead reports that Alliance groups enter through Dalaran's sewers; first-time access is a run from Hillsbrad Foothills. The journey has not been tested here.
Horde access report: Wowhead reports a special tunnel from the Silverpine side via The Sepulcher. At least one group member needs a Dalaran Sewer Key to unlock the gate; the swim and gate access have not been tested here.
Dungeon Finder report: level 28. Walking-entry minimum is a separate rule.
Blizzard range: 28–33. Blizzard's October 8 update makes Dalaran available for testing. Only levels 28–30 overlap the cap; the published band does not prove an entry minimum or a full clear at 30.
Wowhead's dungeon guide recommends levels 28–35. A full clear at level 30 is not verified.
The 1 October Wowhead guide's quest table was still empty. Wowhead's beta quest records, checked 4 October, list eight quests for the dungeon, itemized with XP on this site's dungeon quest page.
