WoW Forever profession leveling guides 1–225
Wowhead's Forever database reports 509 new recipes and 75 changes across these profession records. The seven extended crafting routes cover skills 1–225. The reviewed First Aid guide covers 1–150, and gathering guides cover 1–150; these ranges describe reviewed guide coverage, not each profession's final maximum. Wowhead's current First Aid manual record lists a maximum skill of 225, outside the reviewed First Aid guide range; recipes, acquisition, and a route above 150 are not covered here. The database rows do not prove that a 151–225 crafting trainer, recipe, or route was available or completed in the live beta.

Your first profession steps
- Check the starter quest reward.Beta observation: Wowhead’s beta report describes an optional gathering choice around character level 3–4: Wild Harvest, Mining for Dummies, or Pelt Collecting for Beginners. Each manual teaches its gathering profession only if it is not already trained and you have fewer than two professions; it does not teach a crafting profession.
- Learn the campfire introduction.Beta observation: Wowhead’s camping overview describes The Great Outdoors as the Basic Campfire introduction. As an Alliance Elwynn example, quest 95998 is quest level 6 and requires character level 4; the Horde record is quest 96604. Faction variants and follow-up profession quests can differ. The beta profession records list Cooking’s Basic Campfire Kit at skill 1 as the base campfire setup, separate from the skill-20 placed objects below.
- Open the guide and work toward skill 20.Choose the recorded trainer route for a crafting profession. Gathering guides show beta node records where available or labelled Classic-context level bands. No complete Forever 1–20 gathering route is published here.
- Train the profession-specific object at skill 20.Forever confirmed: Blizzard says the first profession-specific campsite objects are learned at profession skill 20 from a profession trainer or camping-introduction NPC. That threshold is profession skill, not character level 20.

How to use the routes
This route uses Wowhead's Forever database for recipe skill colors, reagents, and recorded trainer sources. It keeps to trainer-taught or starter recipes, then estimates materials with a Classic-context skill-up chance formula; no 151–225 skill-ups or route completion have been tested in Forever. At each skill point it selects the recipe with the lowest weighted material cost, allowing a switch when that saves more than the fixed switch penalty. Bars, cloth, leather, herbs, and dust count as one unit; vendor reagents count as one fifth; green-quality reagents count as five. Treat yellow and green craft counts as estimates.
The seven extended crafting routes use recipe, reagent, skill-color, and acquisition rows checked 2026-10-01; the source cut has build not-published. First Aid and gathering retain their reviewed 1–150 guide scope. Recipe, skill-color, reagent and learn-level rows for the seven extended professions were rechecked against the current Wowhead Forever database. Recorded acquisition methods through 150 were carried forward from the 2026-09-24 cut, with current trainer learn flags and costs used where supplied; First Aid and gathering remain tied to that earlier cut. Above 150, trainer acquisition is checked for route candidates while other recipe-item sources may remain unrecorded. These records do not establish live-beta availability or completion. Expected skill-ups above 150 use the Classic-context chance model and have not been tested in Forever.
Node colour rules, skinning level bands, and the fishing zone sequence fill gaps where the Forever client has not published a rule. They are labelled on the relevant guide.
