WoW Forever Druids Can Use Consumables While Shapeshifted, with Wowhead reporting a Feral Bear example. The Druid can consume an item during combat without leaving Bear form and gain its buff.
What the report shows
After leveling a Druid to level 10 and completing the relevant quest chain, players can see the behavior for themselves, according to the report. The example consumable grants a buff that regenerates 2 health every 5 seconds for 1 hour.
The report also says consumables are usable mid-combat, giving Feral Bear Druids another option during raid fights. Historically, in Classic WoW and The Burning Crusade, using an elixir or potion removed a Bear Druid from shapeshift form.
What is not confirmed
This is an observed Wowhead report, not a Blizzard statement. The supplied evidence demonstrates the behavior for a Feral Bear Druid, but does not establish that every Druid form or consumable works the same way. It also does not name the quest or consumable, publish a complete list, or confirm final launch behavior.
