WoW Forever Nightclaw Druids reputation: quests, ear farming and rewards
How to gain Nightclaw Druids reputation in WoW Forever: where to start on Zephras Isle, the quest chain to Friendly, the repeatable ear quest, how many ears Exalted takes and what Vayn Moongaze sells.
The quick answer
The Nightclaw Druids are a neutral faction in the northeast of
Zephras Isle, open to every race. Start with Unnerving
Silence from Lotheluum Starbreeze in Valanaar, finish the Elegael Thornpaw chain and Vayn Moongaze's quest, then repeat More Al'Aketh Ears for 1000 reputation per 5 Al'Aketh Cultist's Ears. Wowhead counts 185 ears from Friendly to Exalted, which unlocks the Nightclaw Mantle and a title.

The Nightclaw Druids are a secretive group of druids in the northeast of
Zephras Isle, in World of Warcraft: Forever. The isle is the Skyborne starter zone, but any race can travel there and earn their reputation. This page follows Wowhead’s guide, read on 5 Nov 2026 and last updated on 23 Oct.
Where to start
| Step | Who and where | Coordinate |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Lotheluum Starbreeze, Valanaar, offers Unnerving |
/way 64.0 75.0 |
| Questgiver | Elegael Thornpaw, southwest of the cave behind a tree | /way 61.6 39.2 |
| Quartermaster | Vayn Moongaze, at the cave entrance | /way 63.8 36.0 |
You begin at Neutral. Wowhead says the quests suit levels 10 to 12, and that finishing every non-repeatable quest takes you about a third of the way into Friendly. After that, only the repeatable quest gives reputation.

Quest order to Friendly
- Unnerving
Silence from Lotheluum Starbreeze sends you to Elegael Thornpaw and gives 100 reputation. - Elegael offers three quests: Feathers for Binding (20 feathers from the Shadowgale Shrieklings), Tears of the Lady (8 Lady’s Tear Moss, which grows on trees) and Unwanted and Unworthy (10 Bloodied Heirlooms from Al’Aketh Footsoldiers and Al’Aketh Stormchasers).
- Those three together give 1,500 reputation and unlock The Wounds of Betrayal (enter the Nightfang Den, heal 7 druids and find Jorel Windsinger) and The Ties That Bind (kill Commander Haalien and bring his head to Elegael).
- The commander drops a Ripped Missive. Loot and use it to start Ripped Missive, which leads to The Fate of the Den. Each of the two gives 500 reputation.
- Vayn Moongaze then gives Mercy Falls on Deaf Ears: bring 10 Al’Aketh Cultist’s Ears from Al’Aketh cultists.
Farming to Exalted
Finishing step 5 unlocks the repeatable More Al’Aketh Ears. Each turn-in of 5 Al’Aketh Cultist’s Ears gives 1000 reputation, and Wowhead names the Shrine of Akir as the best place to kill cultists.
| Step | Ears needed |
|---|---|
| Friendly to Honored | 20 |
| Honored to Revered | 60 |
| Revered to Exalted | 105 |
| Total after the quest chain | 185 |
Wowhead puts you at 2,100 of 6,000 in Friendly once all other quests are done, which is the starting point for those counts.
Rewards from Vayn Moongaze
Each reputation level unlocks more items that Vayn sells for silver. Friendly and Honored add low-level
Blacksmithing,
Tailoring and
Leatherworking recipes: Plans for Cloudy and Azure Skyforged gear and Patterns for Cloudy and Azure Gustwoven, Windraveled and Stormsewn gear. Revered and Exalted add only cosmetic rewards.
At Exalted you also receive the Nightclaw Mantle shoulder transmog, and the reputation gives a title ending in “of the Nightclaw”. Wowhead’s page writes the title as “%s of the Nightclaw”, a placeholder for your name, and links it as title 1330.

Evidence
Wowhead’s guide is the only source, and it is a beta report. Realm First has not checked the reputation totals or the ear counts in the client. The Skyborne, whose starter zone this is, are covered in the Skyborne classes guide; the recipes Vayn sells feed the crafting side described in the camping objects list.
