Blizzard’s Forever pages publish no separate hardware list. The Forever page says only that an internet connection, a Battle.net account and the Battle.net desktop app are required to play. The specs below come from Blizzard Support’s World of Warcraft System Requirements article, which covers World of Warcraft and the Midnight expansion on Windows and Mac. It is the current WoW client list, not a Forever-specific one, and Blizzard notes that requirements may change over time because of programming changes.
That article was shown as updated about eight months before the check on October 19, 2026. Use it as current WoW background only, and check again for a Forever-specific list before buying hardware.

Reading the list for Forever
Blizzard has not said whether Forever’s client needs more or less than the current WoW list. The minimum column names Intel Coffee Lake or AMD Zen 2 processors and newer, so check your CPU generation as well as its clock speed.
Two Forever facts sit next to this list without being reconciled with it. Blizzard’s What’s Next recap confirms High-Definition and Standard-Definition character-model options and official gamepad support, while the support article lists a keyboard and mouse as required input. The recap does not say how these options affect performance.
The other launch preparations, including purchases and the name reservation window, are in the release date and price guide.
