Short answer

Buy the faction you will level on first. A single faction costs $30; the both-factions bundle costs $45, so the second faction adds $15. If you already know you will level on both sides, the bundle saves $15 against two single guides. We found no RestedXP statement on upgrading from one faction to both later.

Who should buy which

  • One faction ($30). You have chosen a side and a main. Levels 1 to 20 are free for everyone, so you can try the route before you pay.
  • Both factions ($45). You plan a main on each side, or an alt in the other faction. The second faction costs $15 more here, against $30 as a second single guide.
  • Undecided. Start with the free range of the faction you lean toward and buy later. We found no statement on upgrading a single-faction purchase, which is the reason to buy the bundle if both are likely.

What each faction gets

RestedXP's Forever routes for levels 1 to 35 are finished for both factions and start in the Skyborne zone: levels 1 to 12 for Horde, 1 to 14 for Alliance. The dungeon route for levels 1 to 30 has five dungeons per faction. Routes for levels 35 to 60 arrive after the November 4, 2026 launch, with the Era guides covering that range until then. Buyers get updates at no extra cost.

RestedXP lists routes for the new race and class combinations on both sides.

  • Alliance: Dwarf Shaman, Gnome Priest and Human Hunter.
  • Horde: Undead Paladin, Orc Mage and Troll Warlock.

Do I need both factions of the RestedXP Forever guide?

Only if you plan to level on both sides. One faction costs $30. The bundle costs $45.

How much does the second faction cost?

$15 more with the bundle: $45 for both against $30 for one. Two single-faction guides would cost $60, so the bundle saves $15. With Realm First's partner link the prices are $27 and $40.50.

Can I upgrade from one faction to both later?

We found no RestedXP statement on upgrading. If you may want both factions, the bundle is the listed way to avoid paying for the first one twice.

Where do the Alliance and Horde routes start?

Both start in the new Skyborne zone. RestedXP's Forever routes cover levels 1 to 12 for Horde and 1 to 14 for Alliance there, and the finished routes run to level 35 for both factions.
