Is RestedXP worth it for WoW Forever?
The shop lists $30 per faction and a guide that is still being finished. Checked .
Short answer
It is worth it if you want a speed route for levels 1 to 35 or a dungeon route for 1 to 30, and accept that the rest is unfinished. The shop sells the Forever Leveling Guide for $30 per faction and says the product is not yet fully complete. Levels 1 to 20 are free for everyone, so you can try the route before paying. If you only want quest locations on the map, free addons cover that. This verdict is Realm First's judgement from the listed facts below. We have not tested RestedXP on a named beta build.
What the shop page lists
| Item | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Price | $30 Horde, $30 Alliance, $45 both factions |
| Speedrun Guide | Roadmap stage 1, marked Done: open-world leveling with quest order, travel routes, training and hearthstone usage, including elite and group quests |
| Dungeon Leveling Guide | Roadmap stage 2, marked Active: dungeon runs with open-world questing between them, dungeon quest pickups, class quests, hearthstone use, training and flight paths. Routes for levels 1 to 30 went live on 17 October 2026 |
| Levels 35 to 60 | Forever routes come after launch for both the Speedrun and the Dungeon Leveling guides; existing Era guides remain available for that range until then |
| Discovery and Legacy | Planned for after launch, earlier if development is ahead |
| Class paths | Routes optimized per class, with talent and Legacy Point recommendations planned |
| Addon | The guides run in a free in-game addon |
| Completeness | "Created alongside the release and is not yet fully complete"; updates come throughout the release process |
Realm First's judgement
- Buy if you want the fastest route and the dungeon route. RestedXP lists a speedrun guide and a dungeon route for Forever; the dungeon route for levels 1 to 30 went live on 17 October. You pay now for a guide that grows with the beta.
- Wait if you only level to 35. One faction is $30. Because the shop states that updates continue, there is no listed reason to buy before you need the guide, except that a launch rush may be a poor time to set up an addon.
- Hold back if you need 35 to 60 on Forever routes. Those routes come after launch. Until then you use Era routes, which the shop says remain available.
- Check the refund terms first. RestedXP's terms generally exclude refunds on digital orders.
RestedXP is a Realm First partner: Realm First earns a commission on purchases through our link, and the link takes 10% off. That does not change the facts in the table above.
Who can skip it
Players who already know the zones, or who prefer a free tool, can use
Questie for quest locations or
Guidelime with a free guide pack. The leveling addons comparison lists each option with its price and Forever status. Neither gives a speedrun route made for Forever as RestedXP lists it, but both cost nothing to try.
Rules
Blizzard's add-on policy says "All add-ons must be distributed free of charge" and lists paid "premium" versions and charges for related services as off limits. RestedXP's addon is free; its guides are sold separately. We found no Blizzard statement on how that applies, and no reported ban. See the rules page.
