Is RestedXP free in WoW Forever?
Free up to level 20, paid after that. Checked .
Short answer
The RestedXP addon is free, and RestedXP says its WoW Forever routes for levels 1 to 20 are free for everyone. Past level 20, you need a paid guide: the shop lists $30 for Horde, $30 for Alliance and $45 for both factions. Realm First's partner link takes 10% off at checkout.
What is free
- The addon. RestedXP lists a free in-game addon for WoW Forever (build v4.11.26, October 17, 2026). The guides run inside it.
- Levels 1 to 20. RestedXP announced in its Forever update of October 9, 2026 that routes for this range are free for everyone.
- No time limit stated. We found no end date for the free range and no statement on whether it differs per faction.
What costs money
The Forever routes for levels 1 to 35 are finished for both factions, so the paid part today is levels 21 to 35. Thedungeon route for levels 1 to 30 has been live since October 17, 2026. Routes for levels 35 to 60 arrive after the November 4, 2026 launch; until then RestedXP's Era guides cover that range. Buyers get updates at no extra cost.

Start with the free range
Install the RestedXP addon, which supports Windows and Mac but not Linux or Wine setups, and select the guide you want inside it. The dungeon route page shows the one setup path RestedXP has documented. We have not tested the free range on a named beta build, so check what the addon unlocks before you rely on it.
RestedXP is a Realm First partner: Realm First earns a commission on purchases through our link, and the link takes 10% off. This page covers only RestedXP's official addon and shop.
