What Forever changes for Druids

- Potions and most consumables work in form without breaking it. Mana potions work in Bear, Dire Bear and Cat Form since Oct 8. BlizzardBeta notes
- In Bear, Cat and
Dire Bear Form, auto attack DPS matches your equipped weapon. Weapon enchants and procs work in form. Blizzard - Tiger's Fury is removed. Shifting Power replaces it as a Cat talent: 40 Energy for 55% of base mana, 16 s cooldown, blocked at full Energy. BlizzardBeta notes
- Nature's Grasp is baseline at 10 and works in form and indoors. Omen of Clarity is baseline at 20. Revive is new at 12. Blizzard
Claw and
Shred do much more damage.
Rake and
Swipe now scale with Attack Power.
Shred rank 1 moved from level 22 to 20 on Oct 15. BlizzardBeta notes
Wrath costs much less mana. Its base damage was raised by about 50% on Sep 24. BlizzardBeta notes- Crits in Bear and
Dire Bear Form give 100% more Rage (75% on Oct 1, 100% on Oct 8). Bear threat bonus is 50%. Beta notes
Faerie Fire works in form at no cost with a 6 s cooldown. It no longer triggers Omen of Clarity in form and makes threat in Bear. BlizzardBeta notes- Lacerate is new at level 42: a 15 s bleed that stacks to 5. Blizzard
Mangle became
Primal Bite, a 16-point Bear talent costing 20 Rage.
King of the Jungle was removed on Oct 1. BlizzardBeta notesWoW Forever Guides
Furor lets you keep your last Cat Energy through
Bear Form shifts. Bear Forms still block Energy regeneration. Beta notesWoW Forever Guides- Cat Form no longer lowers max health, and all forms are immune to Disarm. Beta notes

Gear and weapons
- Weapon DPS drives form auto attacks and weapon-damage abilities in Bear, Cat and
Dire Bear Form, per Blizzard. Blizzard - WoW Forever Builds prefers Strength and Agility, then Stamina; Method picks Intellect and Spirit pieces. WoW Forever BuildsMethod
- Weapon enchants and procs work in form, including weightstones, Crusader and Windfury Totem. Blizzard
- Neither guide buys healing gear for leveling; shifting out to heal between fights is enough. WoW Forever BuildsMethod
Professions
- Method suggests
Leatherworking with
Skinning, then
Mining with

Legacy perks for Druids

Where the sources disagree
No source has measured leveling speed for any class. The beta stops at level 30, and Blizzard says abilities and talents can still change before launch.
- Crit Rage: Oct 1 notes say 75% more Rage in
Bear Form; Oct 8 notes raise it to 100% (later wins).
Furor: the Blizzard deep dive says shifting to Bear loses all Cat Energy; the Oct 15 notes let you keep the last Energy.- Cat Form max health: WoW Forever Builds says it lowers max health; the Oct 8 notes say it no longer does.
Wrath: Method spams
Wrath at 1 to 9 and Blizzard raised its damage; WoW Forever Builds calls
Wrath weak and costly before 10.- Stats: WoW Forever Builds says weapon damage is ignored in form and only weapon AP counts; Blizzard says auto attack DPS matches the weapon's DPS. Method says Intellect and Spirit, WoW Forever Builds says Strength and Agility.
- Old WoW Forever Builds 10–60 order uses
Mangle,
King of the Jungle and Tiger's Fury, all gone or renamed since. - Method calls Feral fastest and most popular; WoW Forever Guides says it has no timed data and does not call it fastest.
- No source read for this guide lists Druid gear by level or a Bear tanking build for dungeons.
- Whether
Dire Bear Form at 40 needs a quest is not stated. - Shifting Power cost: the deep dive says a significant mana cost, the notes say 55% of base mana; later changes are unknown.
- WoW Forever Builds puts one point in Well Rested before Talented; the WoW Forever Talents Legacy record (build 70124) lists Talented behind Well Rested 5/5.
