Is Zygor worth it for WoW Forever?
Zygor is worth it for WoW Forever if you already pay for Zygor Elite or want leveling, dungeon and profession guides in one subscription; for leveling alone, a one-time purchase costs less after two months. Plans and prices are on Realm First's Zygor partner page. Read .

Is Zygor free?
Partly. Zygor Elite, the plan that carries the Forever guides, is paid. Zygor also offers a free Zygor Basic account that does not rebill. Its join page says Basic downloads a free sample of the in-game guides and opens the forum and Discord. Zygor's Forever page points readers to a free trial for its Retail and Classic guides, and neither page says the free sample includes the Forever guides. We have not tested a Basic account on a Forever beta build.
Zygor is a Realm First partner: Realm First earns a commission on Zygor Elite subscriptions through our link, which does not change the price.
How much does Zygor cost?
Zygor Elite costs $15 a month, or $40 billed every three months ($13.33 a month). Zygor's Forever page says Elite is all you need for the Forever guides and their updates and names no separate Forever price. The same Elite plan also covers Zygor's Retail and Classic guides. We found no yearly plan on the join page.

A subscription adds up over a leveling run. This is our arithmetic from the two listed prices, assuming you renew each period:

|---|---|---|
| 1 | $15 | one monthly payment |
| 2 | $30 | two monthly payments |
| 3 | $40 | one quarterly payment |
| 6 | $80 | two quarterly payments |
| 12 | $160 | four quarterly payments |
What does Zygor cover in WoW Forever?
Zygor's Forever page, read October 27, 2026, says its guides launch in November 2026 through the Zygor Client, which players can download before the servers go live. Zygor says it took its Classic 1 to 60 guides and updated them for the changed questing. It lists:
- Leveling guides for the new zones. Mount Hyjal, Riverglades, Shen'dralas, Dalaran and Zephras Isle.
- A Skyborne starter. A 1 to 12 guide for the Skyborne starting zone of Zephras Isle.
- New race and class combinations. Zygor names
Forsaken Paladins and says the guides will cover essential class quests. - Nine new dungeon guides. Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, City of Dalaran, Blackmaw Hold, The Drowned City, Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Shaper's Terrace and the excavation-site dungeon. Guides for the two new raids follow as the raids are released.
- Professions and tools. Revised profession guides, Travel System updates for new ship routes and updated Talent Advisor recommendations. Zygor says it is still investigating Legacy Points and Campfires.
Zygor's own disclaimer: development happens in the WoW Forever beta, and because of its level restrictions the 1 to 60 update may be partial at launch, with later updates completing it. We found no Zygor statement on which levels or zones ship first, and Realm First has not tested Zygor on a named beta build.
Zygor or RestedXP?
RestedXP is a one-time purchase: $30 for Horde or Alliance and $45 for both factions at list price, levels 1 to 20 free, and Forever routes it lists as finished for levels 1 to 35. Zygor is a subscription with a wider planned scope and a possibly partial start. Two months of Zygor Elite cost $30, and one RestedXP faction lists at $30 once. Realm First's judgement: RestedXP if you want to pay once to level, Zygor if you want dungeons, professions and tools in the same subscription. Neither vendor has published Forever results we could check. Both are Realm First partners; RestedXP's Forever guides and prices are on their own partner page.
RestedXP vs Zygor sets both vendors' statements side by side, and the best leveling addon for WoW Forever compares nine options.
Who should skip Zygor?
- You only want to level once and prefer to pay once. Three months of Elite cost $40; one RestedXP faction lists at $30 once.
- You need finished guides on day one. Zygor itself warns that the 1 to 60 update may be partial at launch.
- You want to pay nothing. Questie, Guidelime and other addons are free; the free leveling addons page lists which ones support Forever.
- The rules worry you. We found no Blizzard statement on paid guide addons for Forever. See Blizzard's addon rules.
