Class quests in World of Warcraft: Forever give you stances, pets, demons and shapeshift forms that a trainer alone does not teach. This page lists the ones Realm First has data for, by class, with the level and the place to start. Every class also has a leveling page with its route and talents.

Warrior: stances and a shield
| Level | Quest | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | The stance quest; each starting area has its own | |
| 20 (Horde) | Trial at the Field of Giants in |
Ruga’s Bulwark |
| 20 (Alliance) | The Rethban Gauntlet (Lakeshire, 1 hour timer; hand in to The Shieldsmith in |
Furen’s Favor |
| 30 | The Affray (Fray Island, sent by The Islander, 10 minute timer) |
At 30 a weapon chain with Bath’rah the Windwatcher follows. Both the Horde and Alliance level 20 quests and The Affray run on timers. The Warrior class page covers stance use after you learn them.

Hunter: the first pet
At level 10 each starting area has a Hunter trainer whose chain ends with your first tame:
| Starting area | Trainer | Last tame in the chain |
|---|---|---|
| Thotar | Armored scorpid | |
| Yaw Sharpmane | Swoop | |
| Grif Wildheart | Ice claw bear | |
| Dazalar | Strigid screecher | |
| Josephine Carson | Young Forest Bear | |
| Quel’ana Quickgale | Vuldren Alpha |
The level 10 quest Training the Beast gives the Beast Training spell. For where to tame each family and how pets learn abilities, see the Hunter pets guide.

Rogue: rings and a blade
| Level | Reward | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | Pyrewood Signet Ring | A class quest; the data names no starting NPC |
| 30 | Ruby-Adorned Blade | A class quest; the data names no starting NPC |
Poisons are a separate matter, covered in the Rogue poisons guide.
Warlock: one demon per decade
| Level | Quest | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Imp quest, available from level 1 | Imp |
| 10 | Voidwalker quest; Horde starts it in |
Voidwalker |
| 20 | Succubus or Incubus quest; the data names no starting NPC | Succubus or Incubus |
| 30 | Felhunter chain from Strahad Farsan in Ratchet |
For Horde the
Undercity voidwalker chain is quicker than
Orgrimmar’s, and for Alliance
Stormwind’s is slightly quicker than
Ironforge’s. Every demon after the Imp costs a Soul Shard to summon. The Felhunter chain is Seeking Strahad, three Tome of the Cabal steps, then The Binding. The Warlock class page covers the demons in use.
Druid: Bear, Cure Poison, Aquatic and Cat forms
| Level | Quest | Where it starts |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Bear Form: Heeding the Call | |
| 10 | Bear Form: The Great Ursera Spirit | |
| 14 | Cure Poison: Lessons Anew | |
| 14 | Cure Poison: Power Over Poison | High Order Skyborne |
| 16 | ||
| 20 | Cat Form: The Great Cat Spirit | Night Elf and Tauren |
| 20 | Cat Form: The Great Windborne Cat Spirit | Skyborne |
The Cat Form step is covered in the Druid Cat Form guide, and the Nightclaw Druids reputation guide covers the
Zephras Isle faction and its quest chain.

Shaman: the Dwarf totem line
Dwarf Shamans earn the Earth Totem at level 4, Fire at 10, Water at 20 and Air at 30, each from a different teacher. The full steps, coordinates and the level 40 weapon choice are in the Dwarf Shaman totem quests guide. Other Shaman races have no quest list in the data checked here.
Paladin, Priest and Mage
The reviewed data holds no class quest for Paladin, Priest or Mage, and Wowhead’s Forever class quest lists could not be read on 5 Nov 2026. Rather than guess, the rows stay open. Mage players can read the Mage scrolls guide for the class-only scrolls.
Evidence
Realm First read its reviewed class leveling data and Wowhead’s Forever quest database as fansite reports; the Hunter quest was read on Wowhead’s quest page on 5 Nov 2026. The data covers the beta level cap of 30 in detail, so later class quests may be missing. Treat the list as a plan, and check the quest log when a trainer offers a step not listed here.
